#3 To-Do

Listen to positive and uplifting music.

Music has great power to change your moods and sometimes even your attitude. I really enjoy listening to anything with upbeat lyrics, even if it isn't a hymn. Many great artists have songs that are inspiring and down-to-earth. I can't guarantee all of their songs will be appropriate obviously, but sometimes a new song is all you need to get through the day.
A few to check out: Ingrid Michaelson, The Weepies, Ginny Owens, Sufjan Stevens, Joshua Radin, Allie Moss, Travis, Bess Rogers, and Sara Bareillies.

If you enjoy LDS musicians, you can head to Deseret Book or Seagull Book & Tape to find the latest and greatest. I really enjoy my sibling's CD's and audio tapes from the experiences at Especially For Youth.

Some of the specific LDS artists that I enjoy: Hilary Weeks, Cherie Call, Todd McCabe & April Moriarty, Mindy Gledhill, Jenny Phillips, Kenneth Cope, and Michael McLean.

Also, the church now has a radio station with songs, conference talks and stories.
